Improving Community Health and Care Services

Improving Community Health and Care Services

Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group are underway with a project across the NHS and local authorities to improve and modernise community services within the county. The aim is to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for everyone in Oxfordshire and increase independence for the older population.

The project is asking for the local community to look at 12 principles on how the design and development of services for the ageing population are shaped. The OCCG website holds all relevant information for the project and will help direct people to how to get involved.

The principles are not yet finalised so feedback will be used to refine and help make any decisions that will help steer the work. Therefore, a public engagement has been launched and seeks the wider views of the public to come forward and respond by 10 October 2021.

Please read the documents outlined here setting out the draft principles and respond with your views and comments by 10 October 2021. You can respond by filling in the online questionnaire via this link.

A series of virtual public meetings are also being held to ask questions and have your say about the project;

  • Tuesday 28 September - 6.30pm until 7.30pm
  • Thursday 30 September - 6.30pm until 7.30pm
  • Friday 8 October - 4pm until 5pm

Joining details will be announced via the above website link in due course.
