Brackley Charter Fair & Road Closures

The Brackley Charter Fair will return next week on Thursday 8 September until Saturday 10 September and will be situated in the town centre, just outside of Brackley Town Hall.

The Mayor of Brackley, Cllr Paul Wiltshire will officially open the Brackley Charter Fair on Thursday evening at 17:30.

The fair, operated by Wilson's Amusements will include fairground rides and attractions suitable for all the family.

Opening Times

• Thursday: 17:00 - 21:30
• Friday: 17:00 - 22:00
• Saturday: 13:30 - 21:30

Fun fact: Brackley was granted a Charter Fair and Charter Market by Royal Assent in 1260. 761 years ago!

Road Closures

As the fair arrives in town, the following road closures will be in place:

From Tuesday evening 6 September from 22.00 until 10.00 Sunday 11 September.

• Market Place car-park
• Market Place slip road from Magdalen College School gates to car-park exit
• Town Hall slip-road to car-park exit

All vehicles MUST be removed from the above areas by 22:00 Tuesday 6 September. Access will be available for emergency vehicles only.
