A little later than usual, Brackley Town Council Grounds Team members have been planting up the flower beds in our town centre this week.
Six beds have been planted, which will soon develop and grow for to make a cheerful display for our town.

Brackley Town Council is aware that despite numerous requests under Covid-19 conditions, there are still many occasions when groups of people (not from the same household) insist on gathering at St. James's Lake - sitting on benches, socialising, drinking and generally not keeping to HM Government social distancing guidelines.

In line with the RSPB and Defra guidelines, we will be starting hedge cutting around the town. Care will be given to ensure there are no birds nesting.
We are also starting work on Swift Way balance pond to remove an invasive, non-native weed that found its way into the pond - perhaps with the goldfish. We will also be clearing reeds and rushes as the pond is being choked with these. This work will... Read More »

Work is starting on a major new medical centre in Brackley. The Brackley Medical Centre will accommodate two merged GP practices, Brackley Health Centre and Washington House Surgery, as well as a new pharmacy.

Work has begun on the new community building on Radstone Fields, with completion scheduled for the end of October. The new building, to be called Egerton Hall, is being provided by Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes & Taylor Wimpey in Partnership with South Northants Council & Brackley Town Council (see the computer generated image).

Barratts have submitted a planning application for the Artwork that will be placed outside the new Community building, Egerton Hall. The design is the work of Iron Forged Designs in Brackley, and was chosen by the Council following competition last year.
