Hours of work: 09:00 – 16:00.
The road closure will be removed overnight
What we are doing / the benefits – Northamptonshire Highways are scheduled to carry out some essential repairs to the culvert located on A422, Farthinghoe.
Traffic Management - To maintain the health and safety of the workforce and the public the works will be carried out under a full road closure. The plan opposite shows the road closure in red and diversion route in blue. The onsite team will also be positioned at the road closure gates to assist pedestrians, cyclists and emergency vehicles where required.
What about parking? During the works, please do not park blocking the access route for cars and pedestrians. Please park safely and legally elsewhere.
During the works:
Access: There are no residences and businesses on the closed section of road. However, to get to your business or residence, we ask that you use the diversion route to plan your journey accordingly.
Pedestrians: Access will be maintained when safe to do so.
Cyclists: Access will be maintained when safe to do so and cyclists will be required to dismount before proceeding through the works.
Emergency services: We will maintain access, when required, to allow emergency vehicles through the traffic management.
Public transport: during the closure, Redline Bus Service bus service 132 will be affected. You can find detailed arrangements during the works by visiting: https://www.redlinebuses.com/
