Taylor Wimpey make generous donation to Jubilee Crown Workshops

On Friday 3 June, free crown making workshops will be held at Egerton Hall in honour of HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Brackley Town Council and community volunteers will be running sessions from 10am, 12pm and 2pm for all the local residents and children to get crafty.

Taylor Wimpey have donated a generous £500.00 to Brackley Town Council and the Jubilee Community Events Committee in order to help cover costs of resources and materials for the crown workshops.

Danielle Heard, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, Oxfordshire said ''We're delighted to be supporting the Jubilee celebrations in Brackley by helping to fund the crown making workshop on 3rd June.

We know all about the great local community from our work at the Willow Park development in Radstone Fields, and we're excited to see everyone coming together to mark this historic occasion".

Georgia Connor, Marketing, Communications and Events Officer from Brackley Town Council said 'We are incredibly grateful for the support and donation from Taylor Wimpey so it can enable these workshops to run to the best of their ability. We are very much looking forward to all of the wonderful crown creations on Friday!'.

There are currently still a few spaces left for the 12:00 and 14:00 session. Please contact Brackley Town Council on 01280 702 441 or email to book your workshop place. All children will need to be accompanied. Arts, crafts and crowns will be provided.
