Funds Available to Help Fly-Tipping Victims

Funds Available to Help Fly-Tipping Victims

Did you know that private landowners who are the victims of fly-tipping can apply for grants of up to £1,500 to help cover the cost of removing it?

Local authorities do not remove fly-tipped waste on private land, as it is the responsibility of the landowner to clear.

But under this scheme, farmers and private landowners can apply for a grant towards the cost of having the fly-tipped waste cleared away and to support them in putting prevention measures in place that will make the land less vulnerable to fly-tippers in the future.

The scheme is run by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, with support for the West and North Northamptonshire Councils.

Please see further information on the fly tipping grant fund application process below.
