We would like to make residents aware of several upcoming road closures and traffic management measures taking place in the local area over the coming months. Please see the details below for each location and planned activity.
- A422: Brackley - Westbury
- A421: Mixbury - Finmere
- A4421: Finmere - Newton Purcell
- Church Lane at Featherbed Lane: Mixbury
A422: Brackley - Westbury
Works are scheduled on the A422 between Brackley and Westbury to allow utilities in the area to be redirected as part of the construction of a new overbridge.
Road Closures: Fridays 08:00 to Mondays 05:30

Works are scheduled on the A421 between Mixbury and Finmere to allow for utility diversions, the establishment of connections, and the installation of traffic lights.
Weekend Road Closure: Saturday 8:00 to Sunday 23:59

We have also been informed that traffic management (lane closures and/or traffic lights) will remain when required until summer 2026.

The closure will be in place to facilitate the realignment of the Featherbed Lane overbridge.
