Following the lifting of restrictions for non essential businesses to re-open, we are pleased to see many of our shops and business premises open their doors again this week.

Until social distancing measures are reviewed by Government, Council will continue with closing the Piazza/Town Hall slip road each Friday until further notice to maximise safe space on the market.

A little later than usual, Brackley Town Council Grounds Team members have been planting up the flower beds in our town centre this week.

Six beds have been planted, which will soon develop and grow for to make a cheerful display for our town.

Works will commence on Monday 27th April 2020 to provide a pedestrian tactile crossing with refuge island on Market Place, Brackley. The works are expected to end by Wednesday 6th May 2020 and will be carried out from 8.00am until 4.30pm each day (Monday to Friday).

Annual removal of wreaths at the town war memorial

Traditionally, all wreaths at the town war memorial are removed over the Easter holidays - A task usually undertaken by Royal British Legion Branch Members in Brackley.

Brackley Town Council staff have this morning removed all wreaths on behalf of Royal British Legion, due to their members not being able to fulfill their usual role.
