The Town Council's accounts have been prepared for submission of the Annual Return to the External Auditor. Anyone interested has the right to inspect the accounting records for the financial year 2020-2021 until 23 July 2021. If you wish to view them, you can do so between 10.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Please contact our Town Clerk, Mrs Alison Moses, to make an appointment.

Re-Opening of the Footpath
The footpath behind the park running from Pebble Lane to The Croft will be re-opening this afternoon following the completion of works on the Town Park Wall. There is an area that is going to need to be tarmacked in the near future and we will be keep you informed on this.

Update received from TARMAC
Due to weather conditions last week, work was delayed on A43 - Whitfield. As a result, works will re-commence on:
Wednesday 14th April
Thursday 15th April
and possibly Friday 16th April if necessary.
The A43 south bound carriageway will be closed from 8pm until 6am on those dates, with the usual diversion route in place.
This will finally complete our current A43 SB scheme.

Our A43 SB Whitfield Scheme has unfortunately, had to be extended into April due to lost shifts, some resource issues and some additional work. The final shift of this scheme is now scheduled for Saturday the 10th of April 2021.

HS2 have amended a Notice of Works in relation to the demolition of Finmere Bridge - A4221 Finmere to Bicester.
Friday 16th April – Monday 19th April 2021
The A4421 will be closed at Finmere Bridge from Friday 16th April 8:00pm until 6.00am on Monday 19th April. The road will be closed to traffic to ensure the safe demolition of Finmere Bridge.

We're supporting the National Day of Reflection on 23 March, the first anniversary of UK lockdown, to commemorate this tragic loss of life and to stand together with everyone who's grieving.
