As part of the continued preparatory HS2 works, the A422 will be closed overnight for approximately 1 week starting from Monday 11 October.
These works are required for the excavation of a utilities trench across the road. The work is needed to provide a new water connection to our A422 south compound.

Update received from TARMAC
Due to weather conditions last week, work was delayed on A43 - Whitfield. As a result, works will re-commence on:
Wednesday 14th April
Thursday 15th April
and possibly Friday 16th April if necessary.
The A43 south bound carriageway will be closed from 8pm until 6am on those dates, with the usual diversion route in place.
This will finally complete our current A43 SB scheme.
