Today we collected over 200 food boxes from SOFEA (a community larder based in Milton Keynes) and distributed them to nearby parishes and to families in need within Brackley. Each box contained 10 store cupboard items and 5 fresh fruit and vegetable items. We will also be able to give Brackley Foodbank 4 large boxes of assorted store cupboard items tomorrow.

Bin collections continue, but residents asked to double-bag tissues
Core waste and recycling services in South Northamptonshire are continuing as scheduled, but bulky waste collections have been suspended and the Farthinghoe Recycling and Reuse Centre is closed.

Following government advice SNVB have now closed the Volunteer Centres in Brackley and Towcester completely.
Their staff are now working from home and they are committed to keeping the work and projects going through this crisis.

With regret, Brackley Town Council has today cancelled all planned events relating to VE Day 75 celebrations and commemorations on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2020. This decision has been made in line with guidelines and advice issued by central government and associated agencies.
