Communication received from NCC Highways - A422 bridgeworks

Work is progressing well on the repairs to the bridge and we are on schedule to complete prior to Christmas. The works started on Monday November 19 and are on a four week programme. The pre-fabricated unit has arrived on site and will be installed from Monday 3rd December.

Temporary road closure information for Brackley Events

Permission has been granted to Brackley Town Council for several road closures to be implemented in conjunction with community events held in the town over the next few weeks.

Northamptonshire Police have issued safety tips for the coming Halloween and Fireworks season.

Included, there are a number of sheets which can be printed and displayed to deter Trick or Treat callers from visiting homes. Copies of the poster are available at the Brackley Council office at 9 Market Place.

A422 - information received from Northamptonshire Highways

Northamptonshire Highways is liaising with partner agencies so work can start as soon as possible to repair the A422 bridge over Farthinghoe Stream in the south of the county.
