Brackley Town Council Joins 'No Mow May'

Posted in Residents' Information

In a bid to support biodiversity and foster a greener environment, Brackley Town Council is proudly embracing 'No Mow May' this year. The Council have carefully reviewed how we can take part in ‘No Mow May’ whilst keeping areas available for our residents to enjoy a picnic or football etc. The areas included are: St James Lake, Mill Lane Open Space, Rose Open Space, Halse Road Open Space, Humphreys Drive Open Space and part of Swift Way Open Space.

Were also encouraging residents to take part, doing so can create essential habitats for pollinators and other wildlife. Taking park doesn't mean leaving your whole lawn you could just leave a patch of grass in your garden uncut.

We thank you for supporting #NoMowMay as we work together to create a better environment for us all. Feel free to share photos of your wild garden and tag @brackleytowncouncil on social media so we can view and share!
