Brackley is very lucky to be surrounded by the most beautiful countryside to explore, and the weather certainly helps to encourages us to venture a little further during our daily allotted exercise routine.
The National Countryside Code guide is offered to give guidance and information to all.
This code does not apply to Brackley and open spaces, please refer to local guidance and signs.

Traditionally, all wreaths at the town war memorial are removed over the Easter holidays - A task usually undertaken by Royal British Legion Branch Members in Brackley.
Brackley Town Council staff have this morning removed all wreaths on behalf of Royal British Legion, due to their members not being able to fulfill their usual role.

Brackley Town Council is aware that despite numerous requests under Covid-19 conditions, there are still many occasions when groups of people (not from the same household) insist on gathering at St. James's Lake - sitting on benches, socialising, drinking and generally not keeping to HM Government social distancing guidelines.

Following government advice SNVB have now closed the Volunteer Centres in Brackley and Towcester completely.
Their staff are now working from home and they are committed to keeping the work and projects going through this crisis.

PLAY AREAS/FITNESS EQUIPMENT CLOSED
by order of HM Government as part of the UK Coronavirus Response.
Closure effective from midnight 23 March for a minimum period of 21 days.
No equipment safety checks will be carried out whilst the play areas are closed.
