Highways England are to commence essential maintenance works on A43 northbound RAF Croughton to Barley Mow roundabout from 10th August 2020 until 6th September.
Works will also be carried out of A43 soutbound at Tusmore.

We have placed more signs around St. James' Lake today reminding people to keep their dogs on a lead whilst visiting.
This advice has been issued by the Government relating to current Covid-19 conditions. We also need to protect wildlife in the area, particularly very young ducklings and goslings. The first collection of boxes was 200 and today, our fourth collection, was 375 boxes plus 4 crates of store cupboard items for the foodbank. These boxes are collected from Milton Keynes and arrive at the Market Square. They are then divided up amongst the volunteer delivery drivers and distributed to 21 parishes in the area and over 50 residents in Brackley - all whilst socially distancing of course.... Read More »

There are growing concerns that not all dog owners are keeping their pets on leads whilst using Brackley parks and open spaces, in particular, the area surrounding St. James' Lake.

Today we collected over 200 food boxes from SOFEA (a community larder based in Milton Keynes) and distributed them to nearby parishes and to families in need within Brackley. Each box contained 10 store cupboard items and 5 fresh fruit and vegetable items. We will also be able to give Brackley Foodbank 4 large boxes of assorted store cupboard items tomorrow.
