New Survey to Help Shape the Future of Events in West Northamptonshire

Residents are being invited to help shape the future of major events through a new survey led by West Northamptonshire Council in partnership with the University of Northampton.
The survey aims to gather views on the types of events people would like to see more of in the area, as well as ideas for new events in the future. Feedback will be used to inform a new Major Events Strategy, which will guide how events are planned and delivered across the area in the coming years.
Events play an important role in supporting the local economy, bringing communities together and promoting pride in the area. West Northamptonshire has previously hosted a range of high-profile and community events, including major sporting fixtures and popular festivals.
The short online survey takes less than ten minutes to complete and is open to anyone who lives, works, studies or regularly spends time in West Northamptonshire. It asks about event preferences, barriers to attending, and how events could better reflect local communities.
Responses will help shape a long-term strategy aimed at strengthening the area’s reputation as a destination for events, while delivering wider economic, social and cultural benefits.
The deadline to complete the survey is Friday 15 May.
