Residents in Brackley who have experienced the loss of a loved one can now access a new free bereavement support group, with the first session taking place on Wednesday 5 August at Brackley Medical Centre Community Hospital.

The Hummingbird Bereavement Service and sAge Bereavement Service are introducing structured bereavement support groups across Northamptonshire, including a new monthly group in Brackley.

The groups are open to anyone aged 18 or over, living in Northamptonshire who has been bereaved within the last 18 months. Led by trained bereavement counsellors, the sessions provide a safe and supportive space for people to talk about their experiences and receive guidance through their grief.

Alongside professional support, the groups offer opportunities to connect with others who have experienced bereavement, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and build supportive social connections.

Sessions are free to attend and last two hours. For more information or to register, contact the organisers using the contact details below.
