Mayor's Charities Collect at Brackley Town Football Club

Brackley Town Mayor, Cllr Jason Kew, attended a match at Brackley Town Football Club last Saturday, enjoying an unseasonably clear and warm afternoon among the fans, joined by volunteers from his chosen charities, Brackley Men in Sheds and SNYE.

A huge thank you to Brackley Town Football Club for generously inviting the charities to collect donations on match day. The club brings charities into the stands throughout the year, offering an excellent opportunity for the groups to meet people, raise funds and spread the word about their valuable work.

Everyone was in great spirits as the stands filled with supporters, many of whom took time to chat with volunteers and learn about the charities, all while enjoying the electric atmosphere and lovely weather before the match kicked off.

A big thank you once again to BTFC for welcoming the Mayor and his team of volunteers, but most importantly, a huge thank you to all the fans, both home and away, who donated so generously on the day.
