Free Film Screening - The People's Emergency Briefing (with Chris Packham)

Posted in Residents' Information

Climate Action - West Northamptonshire (CA-WN Exchange) are putting on a community screening of the new short film starring Chris Packham 'The People’s Emergency Briefing', focused on the impact of climate and nature change on everyday life in the UK.

The event will begin with the screening, followed by a discussion on its themes and what they may mean for our local community. The film includes highlights from a national briefing held last November, where experts discussed the impacts of climate and nature issues across the UK and considered possible responses. The initiative is non-partisan and supported by a range of national organisations, with the aim of encouraging informed public discussion.

The local screening at Egerton Hall will take place on Friday 19 June 2026 at 7.00pm. Places are limited and must be booked in advance via the link below. Other nearby screenings are also being held at the Sawpits Centre, Towcester on Friday 5 June, and the University of Northampton on Tuesday 23 June.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and early booking is recommended due to limited availability.
