Fireworks this Saturday

It’s nearly here! Brackley’s annual Fireworks Display takes place this Saturday, 31 October, kicking off the events season with a decade of displays generously supported by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.

The event is completely free to attend, with no tickets or booking required. Gates open at 5pm at Magdalen College School Field (bottom site), with the fireworks display starting at 7pm.

There will be plenty to enjoy before the display, including excellent food vendors, community stalls, bars and live entertainment, with stilt walkers and more to help get everyone in the spirit. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team’s F1 car will also be returning to the field this year, celebrating ten years of support for Brackley’s much-loved display.

The team will once again be supporting local charity Helen & Douglas House. Excitingly, they have announced that all funds raised for the hospice on the night will be matched by the team, doubling the impact of the money raised and helping to make a real difference.

As well as traditional donations, you’ll also have the chance to enter a special raffle, with prizes including hand-signed baseball caps from Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, a hand-signed print of George Russell’s 2025 race helmet, a LEGO® City F1 Garage set featuring Mercedes and Alpine cars, and team Funko POP! figures. Tickets cost £2 each or £10 for a strip of five.

The field gets busy, so we recommend arriving early to enjoy the entertainment, grab something tasty and find a good spot before the display begins. With the event falling on Halloween, why not come along in fancy dress, enjoy the fireworks and then head out trick-or-treating afterwards?
