The new Brackley Self-Guided Tour Booklet is now available to pick up from the Brackley Town Council office, or to download digitally as a PDF.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to the Town Hall on Sunday for the Brackley Through the Ages Exhibition and Tales of Old Brackley talk by Rosemary Leaper. We were thrilled by the turnout, and the enthusiasm shown by everyone for Brackley’s history was wonderful.

All the Heritage Open Days self-guided tour booklets we had on offer at the event were snapped up, so we’ve made some more for those who missed out on the day, or couldn’t make it to the event.

We’ve also created a digital version of the booklet, for anyone who would like to read the great information provided by Brackley & District History Society at home, or out and about while following the handy tour map on the last page of the booklet.

The guide itself takes you on a journey through Brackley’s history, with information about some of the town’s most interesting historic buildings, landmarks and locations, alongside a handy map to help you follow the route.

Thank you again to everyone who made it to Sunday’s Heritage Open Days events. Heritage Open Days continues until Sunday 20 September, so why not browse the other events planned in Brackley and the wider area via the link below?
