Best Brackley Chrismtas Lights 2025
We’re delighted to officially announce The Morris’s of Humphries Drive as the winners of the inaugural Mayor’s Christmas Light Competition!
The Mayor, along with his panel of judges from the council staff and Brackley Life magazine (including one extra-special little judge, Phoenix), felt that the overall effort, arrangement and uniformity of their display truly set it apart this year.
A special mention also goes to Orion Drive and Flanders Way for their spectacular street-wide displays. The Mayor felt these areas were decorated so brilliantly that they deserved recognition for their fantastic collective effort.
It was a particularly tough decision, as so many homes were decorated to a very high standard, with notable mentions for Charterhouse Close, Valley Road and Rose Drive.
Although the competition was for Brackley residents, the Mayor would also like to thank local businesses for their excellent efforts in lighting up the town and helping to create a beautiful festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Finally, a sincere thank you to everyone who took part. We were overwhelmed by the number of entries and the incredible effort shown by so many households this year. Congratulations once again to The Morris’s, they take home the trophy this year… but perhaps in 2026, it could be you!
