Women's Safety Event in Silverstone

Silverstone Parish Council, with the support of Northamptonshire Police, is hosting a Women’s Safety Event tomorrow (18 September 2025) at Silverstone Recreation Association (SRA).

This interactive evening is open to women of all ages and will cover practical topics designed to help you feel safer and more confident. Subjects include:

• How to keep yourself safe when out alone

• Understanding self-defence and legal considerations  

• Staying safe in your vehicle – when to lock doors, whether to stop for strangers, and more

The session will also include time for questions and discussion, giving you the chance to share experiences and get advice in a friendly and supportive environment.

There’s no need to book in advance – just come along on the night. However, if possible, please let the Parish Council know you’re attending so numbers can be managed. You can email clerk@silverstone-pc.gov.uk to confirm.
