West Northamptonshire Local Plan: Brackley

Posted in West Northamptonshire Council

West Northamptonshire Council is asking for your thoughts on their new Local Plan. The Local Plan sets out how towns and villages in West Northamptonshire are expected to grow and develop over the coming years. It guides where new homes, roads, schools, and green spaces will go, and aims to manage each town's growth in a way that protects their character.

As part of the consultation, you have the chance to read through the document and provide your feedback. There will also be a public engagement event, offering people an opportunity to learn more about the proposals and speak directly with council officers. This is planned for Wednesday 11 March at Brackley Town Hall, from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

The deadline to respond to the survey is Friday 27 March

Key points relating to Brackley include:

  • The number of new homes planned

  • What new developments must include

  • Cycling and walking infrastructure
