Upcoming Road Closures - Christmas Market, Lights & Lanterns

Tomorrow, the following road closures and traffic management measures will be in place for the Brackley Christmas Market Lights & Lanterns:

Market Place Car Park – Full Closure 

10:00am - 8:00pm

The Market Place car park, slip roads behind the Town Hall, and the slip road behind the public toilets will be closed from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Vehicle access to the courtyard shops will be maintained until 5:00pm, when the entire High Street will close for the lantern parade. 

High Street – Rolling Closure (Pebble Lane to Buckingham Road)

5:00pm - 6:00pm

Between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, a rolling road closure will be in place from Pebble Lane to Buckingham Road to allow the parade to exit Winchester House School and travel safely along the High Street. 

High Street – Full Closure (Buckingham Road to Banbury Road)

5:00pm - 7:30pm

The High Street will be fully closed between 5:00pm and 7:30pm to allow crowds to gather for the Christmas light switch-on. 

Blue Badge Parking

From 2:00pm

Dedicated blue badge parking will be available on the slip road next to the public toilets from 2:00pm. Spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. If full, public parking will also be available at Magdalen College School (Top Site, Waynflete).
