Upcoming Road Closures - 30 September 2025

We’ve been informed of planned road closures and traffic management on the A422 near Westbury to allow essential works related to the HS2 project. These works include the installation of new water pipes and the construction of a bridge and road section across the HS2 line.

We've been informed that to minimise disruption, traffic lights will be removed whenever possible and closures will be scheduled over weekends. EKFB will manage these works on behalf of Anglian Water.

A422 - Full Weekend Road Closures
Essential works are being carried out to support the HS2 infrastructure, including utility connections and bridge construction.

• Friday 10 October – Monday 13 October 2025
• Friday 17 October – Monday 20 October 2025
• Friday 31 October – Monday 3 November 2025
• Friday 7 November – Monday 10 November 2025
• Friday 14 November – Monday 17 November 2025

A422 - Traffic Management (Temporary Traffic Lights)
Traffic lights will be in place at alternating locations along the A422 between Brackley and Westbury. These may remain in place during the day for safety reasons.
