Upcoming Road Closures - 26 September 2025

We’ve been informed of planned road closures in the Brackley area to allow essential work on a new section of road. These closures will take place on the A421 and A4421 over several weekends.

To reduce disruption, the two roads will not be closed at the same time. Closures will alternate between the A421 and A4421 to ensure traffic can continue to flow in the local area.

A421 – Full Weekend Road Closure

Essential preparatory works are being carried out to safely open a new section of the A421 later this year.

Between: Mixbury – Finmere

Dates: Saturday 4 October – Sunday 5 October 2025

A4421 – Full Weekend Road Closure

Essential works will also take place on the A4421 to prepare the route for the new section of road.

Between: Finmere – Newton Purcell

• Saturday 27 September – Sunday 28 September 2025

• Saturday 25 October – Sunday 26 October 2025
