Upcoming Road Closures - 16 September 2025
We’ve been informed of upcoming road closures and traffic management around the Brackley area on the following roads:
- A43: Between Brackley and Silverstone
- A422: Between Brackley and Westbury
A43 - Traffic Management (Lane Closures)
National Highways will be carrying out embankment surveys alongside the A43 carriageway. In order for these surveys to be completed safely, there will be temporary traffic management, a reduction to single lane traffic on the A43. To minimise disruption these will take place at off-peak times.

- Wednesday 17 September - Thursday 18 September
- 9:00 - 15:30
A422 - Full Weekend Road Closure
The HS2 team are building a new bridge and section of road across the HS2 line on the A422 near Westbury. As part of the preparatory work, they are re-routing underground services and making new utility connections.
Between Brackley and Westbury
- 20:00 Friday 19 September - 11:59 Sunday 21 September
