School Applications for September 2026

Applications are now open for school places in West Northamptonshire for September 2026. Parents and carers can apply for:

• Reception (children turning four on or before 31 August 2026)

• Year 3 at junior schools

• Year 7 at secondary schools

The deadline for applications are as follows:

• Year 7 applications: midnight, 31 October 2025

• Reception and Year 3 applications: midnight, 15 January 2026

All on-time applicants will receive an offer of a school place on National Offer Days:

• 2 March 2026 (secondary)
• 16 April 2026 (reception/junior)

All applications must be received by the deadlines to be considered on time. Families refused a place at their chosen school have the right to appeal through an independent admissions appeals process. Late applications will be processed after National Offer Days.
