Remembrance - Closures & Parking

There will be temporary parking restrictions and a rolling road closure in place on Sunday 9 November to ensure public safety and support the smooth running of the Brackley Remembrance Service & Parade.
We kindly ask that all vehicles are removed from the areas listed below ahead of the event to allow the parade to proceed safely. Any vehicles left in these areas - particularly in the Market Place car park - may be removed for public safety reasons.
Full details of the parking suspensions and road closures can be found below.
Temporary Parking Suspension: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Parking will be suspended in the town centre between 9:00am and 4:30pm to prepare for the Remembrance Parade and Service. The following areas will be affected (as shown on the map below):
High Street
Town Car Park
Town Hall Slip Road

Temporary Parking Suspension: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Further parking restrictions will be in place on the High Street, between Buckingham Road and Pebble Lane, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm during the parade.

Rolling Road Closure: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
A rolling road closure will be in effect on the High Street, between Church Road and Banbury Road, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.
The closure will move along the High Street with the parade and will reopen sections as soon as it is safe to do so, helping to minimise disruption while keeping participants and spectators safe.
