Flags Up for the Final

Brackley Town Council is proudly displaying St George’s flags alongside the Women’s Rugby World Cup flags along the High Street in support of the England Women’s team, who have made it through to the final – a fantastic achievement!

The World Cup final will take place this Saturday, 27 September, at 4pm, with live coverage on BBC One and iPlayer from 3pm.

With England recently crowned champions at the UEFA Women’s European Championship, and now competing for glory in the Women’s Rugby World Cup, 2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for women’s sport – and for England on the international stage.
