We'd like to congratulate the England women’s rugby team on their stunning triumph at the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup on Saturday. What a moment for women’s sport, and for England!

Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed the High Street lined with Rugby World Cup flags. As the tournament reached its thrilling climax, they were joined by St George’s flags to show our support for England in the championship match.

2025 is already proving to be a landmark year for England in women’s sport. Not only have our rugby stars lifted the ultimate prize, but earlier this year the England women’s football team claimed European glory.

We hope Brackley residents share our excitement. Well done England - and thank you team, for giving us so much to celebrate!
