Only four sleeps left until the Brackley Christmas Market, Lights & Lanterns! If your little ones would like to take part in our annual lantern parade and you haven’t got your lantern yet, don't worry! You can buy lantern kits for only £2.50 from the Brackley Town Council office, 20 High St, Brackley, NN13 7DS (opposite The Plough and next to Domino’s).

Kits contain everything you need to assemble your lantern: the lantern itself, a cane, a light, elastic bands and instructions for the big day. You can decorate your lanterns at home and bring them along to the parade on 29 November.

The parade will start to gather at Winchester House from the Manor Rd side at 4.45pm. Once the parade is all lined up and ready to go, we'll all follow Father Christmas down the High Street at 5.15pm. The parade will make its way down the High Street and come to a gentle stop near the Town Hall, where we'll all get ready for the countdown to switching on the Brackley Christmas lights at 5.30pm.

Stop by the office to buy your lantern kit between 9am and 4pm, Mon to Fri.

Lantern Parade:

• Saturday 29 November
• Gather at 4:45pm at winchester house (Manor Rd Entrance)
• Parade sets off at 5:15pm
• Light Switch-on at 5:30pm
