Armed Forces Day Colouring Competition 2026

Posted in Residents' Information

With the Easter holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to take part in the Armed Forces Day Colouring Competition! This is a great opportunity for children, young people, and creative members of the community to get involved in celebrating Armed Forces Day, which will take place in Brackley Town Park on Saturday 27 June 2026.

To enter, simply collect a black and white Armed Forces Day poster from the Town Council office, or print your own copy at home, and get creative. You can use any materials you like - pencils, felt tips, paints, or crayons. Once completed, return your entry to the Town Council office. Please make sure your name, age group, and contact details are clearly written on the back so we can get in touch if you are selected as a winner.

There are several categories to ensure everyone has a chance to take part, as well as an open category for those who would like to design their own poster. Winners from each category will have their designs displayed around the town to help promote the upcoming Armed Forces Day event.

A range of prizes are available, including a personalised mug featuring the winning design, an Armed Forces Day t-shirt, family entry tickets (2 adults and 3 children) for the event, and inclusion in promotional materials. The overall winner will receive all of these prizes, along with the opportunity to have their design featured on the front cover of the official Armed Forces Day souvenir programme.

So what are you waiting for? Time to get colouring and be part of this year’s Armed Forces Day celebrations in Brackley.
