Brackley Town Hall was opened in 1707 as a civic chamber and assembly room to provide a focal point for the people of Brackley. Since then, it had an extensive refurbishment in 1883 where the Victorians of Brackley added a whole front wing to make the entrance more grand. In 1960, as part of the town's septcentenery celebrations, changes were made again to the inside of the building.

in 2016, the Town Hall closed for major restoration work funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, South Northants Council and the Brackley Town Council Town Fund. Major structural work was needed to make the building safe and fit for purpose once again. Information relating to the project can be found by visiting the Town Hall Restoration Project website. The Civic Hall, on the first floor of the building (fully accessible by lift) is a beautiful, atmospheric, heritage venue perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions, functions, dinners, training, courses and more. It has a fully equipped catering kitchen and offers a wonderful town centre location for your event.

The Civic Hall is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.

Rates 2019/2020

The Civic Hall includes up to 10 rectangular tables and up to 100 chairs, the use of the kitchen and ground floor welcome area. Capacity is 100, not taking into account any seating plans.

Up to 3 hours (Mon - Fri)* - £120
Working Day (Mon-Fri 9-5)* - £300
Up to 3 hours (out of office hours) - £200
Up to 6 hours - £300
Up to 12 hours - £500

* Not including any bank holidays

Security Staff Member - compulsory extra for some bookings. £17 per hour
All functions with alcohol present incur a £250 returnable damage deposit.
