Brackley Town Hall was opened in 1707 as a civic chamber and assembly room to provide a focal point for the people of Brackley. Since then, it had an extensive refurbishment in 1883 where the Victorians of Brackley added a whole front wing to make the entrance more grand. In 1960, as part of the town's septcentenery celebrations, changes were made again to the inside of the building.

In 2016, the Town Hall closed for major restoration work funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, South Northants Council and the Brackley Town Council Town Fund. Major structural work was needed to make the building safe and fit for purpose once again.

The Civic Hall, on the first floor of the building (fully accessible by lift) is a beautiful, atmospheric, heritage venue perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions, functions, dinners, training, courses and more. It has a fully equipped catering kitchen and offers a wonderful town centre location for your event.

The Civic Hall is also licensed for wedding ceremonies. Please note that Brackley Town Hall is not suitable for children's parties.

We offer a dry hire venue service which means you arrive to an empty hall and you return an empty hall. This enables you to have greater flexibility over the space and suppliers you use.
