Biodiversity & Environment
Welcome to Brackley Town Council’s Biodiversity and Environment pages.
This section of the website provides an overview of how the Town Council cares for Brackley’s natural environment, protects local biodiversity, and manages its green spaces. Visitors can explore past and current environmental projects, learn about the work of the Biodiversity and Environment Committee, and find links to local organisations and initiatives that share similar aims.
Alongside these webpages, Brackley Town Council formed the Biodiversity and Environment Committee in the latter half of 2025. A standing committee of the Town Council, it meets quarterly to help guide environmental efforts and ensure biodiversity and sustainability remain at the heart of council discussion and decision-making. As with all council committees, meetings are open to the public, and residents are welcome to comment on agenda items and raise local environmental issues with members of the group.
Brackley Town Council has a long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship, and this dedicated area of the website is intended to help residents stay informed and better understand the work taking place across the town. Feedback and questions relating to any of the material featured here are always welcome.
