The local planning authorities in West Northamptonshire i.e. Daventry District, Northampton Borough and South Northamptonshire Councils with support from Northamptonshire County Council, have agreed to prepare a new Strategic Plan for the area. This will replace the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy and will cover the period 2019-2041, although the Vision may look further ahead.

Launch of Summer Fire Safety Campaign
A campaign to highlight the grass fire risk posed during warm summer months has been launched by firefighters in Northamptonshire.

We have been made aware about a serious accident on A43 between BP roundabout and Syresham. At this time, Southbound carriageway is clear, Northbound carriageway is blocked on A43.
As a result, Police on the scene are turning traffic away, and consequently drivers of vehicles are making their own decisions as to which diversion they take. This is obviously causing congestion on Brackley High Street.... Read More »
