Road Closure - Pavillons Way 15th October

We have just been notified by Northamptonshire Highways that Clancy Docwra will be carrying out repairs to two manhole covers in the carriageway, on Pavillons Way, between Banbury Road and Humphries Drive. In order to undertake the work safely the road will be closed for ONE day on Monday 15th October 2018

A422 Farthinghoe Bridge - update from Nothamptonshire Highways

The A422 closed, in both directions, with immediate effect on Tuesday 7th August. The road remains closed from the recycling centre junction to New Road junction just outside the village of Farthinghoe.

Following our routine inspection in August damage was discovered to have accelerated and require repair works. It was agreed that the route should be closed to traffic for safety.

The Town Hall re-opening

Two years after the doors of Brackley Town Hall were closed to the public, the project to restore the building has been completed. Town Hall Bells are re-commissioned

As part of the 2018 restoration, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Brackley Town Council and South Northants Council, the clock underwent a thorough restoration. The mechanisms and clock faces were removed by crane and went to Smith of Derby to be cleaned and restored. The weather vane was also refurbished by Smith of Derby.
