Facilities At The Town Hall
Although the Town Hall is a well known building within the Town Centre, we are constantly surprised by people who visit us who say they have never been in the building and were not aware of the office upstairs. Although many may have visited the Lower Hall when attending a Coffee Morning or a sale, they are unaware there is another hall upstairs.
As you can see from the photograph it is quite an impressive Hall and can seat up to 100 people comfortably for a meal although it has a public entertainment licence for 200. The Lower Hall is more regularly used and is licensed for up to 100. Both halls are used by local organisations, dancing classes, private parties, slimming groups, business people and of course the Town Council meets every fortnight for its various Committee Meetings.
