22 Tudor Way |
Committees: Planning and General works |
In January 2000 I was co-opted on to Brackley Town Council and have played an active part in Council matters attending the majority of Council and committee meetings. In the October of my first year, following an approach from the local business group, I co-ordinated the setting up of Brackley Farmers Market and continue in that role. I was chairman of the Brackley Community Carnival in 2004 and 2005 when the carnival was re-vamped and moved to Magdalen College School St John's Site.
I am currently treasurer for the Carnival Committee. My wife Janet is the Superintendent Registrar of Marriages for Brackley, Towcester and Daventry and we have 2 daughters who both attended Magdalen College School before going on to University. We have lived in Brackley since 1993.
In my spare time I am a member of Brackley Players and this year I am chairman. I have directed the pantomimes in December 2006, January 2008 and the current panto in November 2008 and have also been known to tread the boards. I run my own business in the town.
