Road Closure - Saturday 26 November (Brackley Christmas Lantern Parade & Light Switch On)

On Saturday afternoon (26 November), the following road closure will take place ahead of the Brackley Christmas Lantern Parade and Light Switch On. 

The road will be closed from the Banbury Road junction to the Buckingham Road junction including both slip roads and the Market Place car park. The roads will close between 16:00 and 16:30 and reopen again between 18:00 and 18:30. Thank you for your patience during this time.

At 17:30, the popular white Christmas lights on Brackley High Street will be turned on. 

If you are attending the event and participating in the lantern parade, please meet on the Magdalen College School, St John Site car park at 16:45. The parade will commence at 17:15 and light switch on will follow.
