This month, the Commissioner provides information on the latest technology to help keep people safe in the night time economy and how he is supporting retailers by listening to their concerns around crime and anti-social behaviour. He also visits a Rushden school that has received a £5,000 grant to help keep children safe whilst getting to and from the school.

You can read about two schemes which have been recognised with national awards and how local businesses are being supported by a new procurement framework.

The Commissioner also launches the council tax precept survey asking for views on how much people are happy to pay towards the county’s emergency services and he explains why he has commissioned research into confidence in policing.
