  BRACKLEY MALE VOICE CHOIR

Brackley Male Voice Choir GuestsCHOIR LEFT STANDING

Brackley Male Voice Choir and the soloists, Trevor Jones, Sarah Haig and Jacob Stone, were given a standing ovation by a very noisy and enthusiastic audience at the end of their concert on Monday evening, which was sponsored by Alpha Timber Solutions.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Brackley, Councillor Kevin and Elaine Dixon were the honoured guests and joined in enthusiastically. At the end of the concert, Rylan Morris Chairman of BMVC presented the Mayoress with a bunch of flowers.

Following a highly appreciated and stunning performance by the well known Banbury based soprano, Sarah Haigh, the Choir ended their performance of their new repertoire with Rule Britannia. The packed audience were invited to join in which they did with gusto.

Everybody at the concert thought again this was a very high standard of performance and the inclusion of the Soloists, new material and the obvious enjoyment of the whole choir, were the contributing factors.

The highly rated performance was professionally recorded and the CD will be available shortly for sale. Telephone Colin on 01280 701759 to reserve your copy.

The Choir's next concert is a joint one with Newport Male voice Choir at St. Peters Church, Brackley on Saturday 25 th October 2008 at 7p.m. Special guests once again will be the Mayor and Mayoress,

New members for the Choir are welcome; all you need is a love of singing. Practice is on Monday evenings at 7:30p.m in Magdalen School Chapel, Brackley. No auditions or musical experience is required. Contact John on tele 01280 704149.
